Domain Names
As well as hosting your site we can register and set up domain names so that people can find your site on the internet. As well as chosing a domain name you'll also need to choose a "domain name extension" or "the thing after the dot" to most people. Some popular domains (and their prices inc VAT) are:
- .co.uk - £7 per 2 years
- .org.uk - £7 per 2 years
- .com - £12 per year
- .org - £12 per year
- .net - £12 per year
- .co - £35 per year
- .uk.com - £41 per year
To check which domains are available you can either contact us or use the free website Domize. When you've found an available domain let us know and we'll register it for you - pronto!
Website Packages
You don't need to have a 1-Web website to host with us. As well as installing websites from other companies or that you've made yourself we can provide popular software packages to let you create your own website. Some of the options we offer are:
