1-Web Services

1-Web Services was created by Mike Lehan and Gazz Evans in 2008 whilst we were studying at Durham and Cardiff universities respectively. After each receiving work from colleages at university we decided to pool our resources and start up a business full time. We like to think we have experience beyond our years, Mike has been designing websites since 2003 and Gazz has been interested in network systems since he first got his hands on a computer.

As a company we are committed to giving our clients what they need as well as what they want, putting almost as much effort into researching what they need as they have done. By getting to know the people we work for we reckon they get the best out of us, and we've developed long term interest in many of our projects far beyond our initial planned design.

We are primarily based in Manchester though are open to work from anywhere in the UK, or indeed anywhere that isn't the UK, as long as you're comfortable doing business over the phone or by email.

Mike Lehan

Hello, I'm the lead developer and partner at 1-Web Services. I have been creating websites since 2003 when I was asked to make one for a company at school. Over the years I've learnt most major languages relevant to web design and have consistently developed my skills at both front and back-end design. Recently I've also worked a lot more on my graphic design to allow me to oversee every aspect of a project. I enjoy the challenge of any website because all clients are different, but particularly relish the challenges and opportunities that large web applications can provide, especially if it means working with other young entrepreneurs. I'm currently studying my final year in Electronic Engineering at Durham University.

Gazz Evans

Hi, I'm the systems manager and partner at 1-Web Services. I graduated in Computer Science from Cardiff University in 2009.

Job Opportunities

1-Web Services is currently in a transitional period as it moves from a partnership to a limited company. We hope to take on an additional web designer in 2011 though are keen to offer internships or temporary positions for students from September 2010.
